A Louisiana native, Jeremy Greenhouse found his calling to cuisine at the early age of 12 when he became captivated with everything his mother and grandmother were doing in the kitchen. Jeremy credits “Being from Louisiana we are taught that if you put your soul in the pot that will be reflected on the plate” so that is how he approaches every opportunity, to make someone smile or reflect back to a life long memory when he experienced a taste that made him smile.
Jeremy was classically trained in culinary Arts at the Art Institute of Houston where he learned multiple techniques in different world cuisines. Some of his recent kitchen experiences have been catered events for Houston's socialites for the Houston Black Chamber of Commerce and Buffalo Soldiers National Museum. His journey has also included the Tasting Room in uptown park and Memorial Hermann in the Texas medical center.
During Jeremy’s career in the restaurant industry he expanded his appetite and embarked on his own brand, Extraordinary Creations in 2007. He saw it as a chance to showcase a culinary experience like no other. Jeremy has since extended his brand with the opening of The Oaks Kitchen & Bar in Katy and Cafe Sol in Iowa Colony.
Extraordinary Creations menu is heavily influenced by Jeremy’s love for cuisine. With each dish he creates, Chef Jeremy strives to be innovative, yet stay true to his culture to provide an unforgettable catering experience.
